We will then explore the Thousand Buddha Caves, the largest Buddhist cultural site in Xinjiang, where numerous exquisite murals and statues are preserved. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Uygur minority dance performance, offering insights into the vibrant cultural heritage of Xinjiang.

We will begin by visiting the Singing Sand Mountains and the Crescent Moon Lake. The Singing Sand Mountains are named for the echoing sounds they produce when the wind blows, while the Crescent Moon Lake resembles a crescent moon nestled in the desert.

After breakfast, we will take a train to the renowned “First Pass Under Heaven” – Jiayuguan Pass, which marks the western end of the Great Wall of China. This pass exhibits grandeur and magnificence, offering panoramic views of the vast landscapes beyond the wall, including deserts and remote horizons. The Great Wall winds through the terrain like a dragon, intermittently appearing and disappearing, creating a majestic and awe-inspiring sight. In the evening, we will board an overnight sleeper train to Lanzhou, the capital of Gansu Province known as the “City of Fruits.”

We will then explore one of the Four Famous Gardens of Jiangnan, Yu Garden, and stroll through the quaint streets of the City God Temple Old Street. After dinner, you have the option to enjoy an evening cruise on the Huangpu River (at your own expense), offering stunning views of Shanghai’s illuminated skyline.
